Ritual lives in the quiet moments. A candle softly lit, a stone warmed in your palm, a conscious breath taken in stillness. When intention is woven into these simple gestures, they become gentle anchors throughout the day-offering presence, grounding, and a sense of connection. The objects we return to in ritual hold even deeper meaning when they are shaped by our own hands.
In this intimate, hands-on clay workshop, you’ll be guided to create a personal ritual object to support grounding and mindful presence. Using traditional handbuilding techniques such as pinching and coiling, you’ll shape a form that mirrors your inner world—perhaps a vessel, talisman, altar piece, or another expression that feels true to you.
Clay naturally invites slowness. Its softness and responsiveness draw us into relationship with the earth, our bodies, and the present moment. As you mold your piece, you’ll also be cultivating space for grounding practices that can continue to nourish you long after the clay has set.
No prior ceramics experience is needed.
All materials are provided. Your finished piece will be glazed and kiln-fired, ready for pickup during Daylight Hours at Panela Studios (Monday–Saturday, 11 AM–8 PM). Please allow approximately one week for completion. Pieces will be held for up to one month after the pickup date. At this time, shipping is not available.
Facilitated with love by Harri.
